【摘要】 语境是语用学中两个基本概念之一,是语用学重点研究的对象。语境同翻译是密不可分的。翻译是对意义在两种不同的语言之间进行的等值转换,在翻译的过程中,语境是翻译者能否准确把握原语的意义实质,并将其转移到译语当中的关键。本文从译语词义的确立这一角度论述了语境在翻译中的重要性和不可替代的作用,以及其对翻译教学的启示。
